They say the fate is whatever gods declare, whatever Jupiter declares… Thus they say that fate derives from fando, that is from speaking… The fiction is that there are three Fates, who spin a woollen thread on a distaff, on a spindle, and with their fingers, on account of the threefold nature of time: the past, which is already spun and wound onto a spindle; the present, which is drawn between spinner’s fingers; and the future, which lies in the wool twined on the distaff, and which must still be drawn out by the fingers of the spinner onto the spindle, as the present is drawn to the past.

How the Work Unfolds

Ivana is an experienced psychic, medium, tarot reader, teacher, and mentor who guides others with clarity, depth, spiritual integrity, and intuitive sensibility.

For nearly two decades, she has dedicated her work to giving Spirit a voice — offering intuitive guidance through psychic and mediumistic connection, and through tools such as tarot and psychometry.

What began as quiet curiosity has evolved into a lifelong devotion. Today, that devotion is expressed through relational mediumship — a depth-based, spiritually grounded approach that honours presence, reverence, and deep listening.

Her work has reached clients and students both nationally and internationally, where she has offered readings, workshops, platform demonstrations, and mentorship alongside esteemed mediums from around the world.

Ivana’s sessions create a space for reflection and remembrance — where insight, healing, and spiritual connection can unfold with clarity and grace. Rooted in the depth of Soul Centred Psychotherapy, her practice bridges the spiritual and psychological — uniting the language of soul with the wisdom of the psyche.

The symbols, images, and archetypes that arise are honoured as expressions of the inner world, each carrying the potential for transformation and understanding.

Through relational mediumship, Ivana invites you into a sacred dialogue between soul and spirit — a space where healing deepens, and love continues beyond form.

Psychic

Psychic work is for Souls incarnate.
The term psyche refers to the essence or soul, highlighting the meeting of two energetic fields: the reader attunes to the sitter, receiving and interpreting information emerging within their energetic pattern.

This process can offer a panoramic understanding of one’s life — encompassing past, present, and potential future — from the perspective of the present moment. From this elevated view, underlying patterns, recurring cycles, survival mechanisms, and defense structures may become apparent — those tendencies that keep an individual repeating familiar loops rather than consciously creating and evolving.

When conducted with intuitive sensibility, psychic sessions can illuminate possibilities, providing guidance that empowers conscious choice and personal growth.

Mediumship

Mediumship is for Souls disincarnate.
In its transcendental form, mediumship inherently engages the psychic structural functions of the Clairs — the intuitive senses that enable communication between the physical and spiritual worlds. (Please visit The Clairs page for more information.)

A medium serves as a bridge between the incarnate and disincarnate realms. Through attunement, the medium blends with Spirit, receiving and perceiving messages via the psychic faculties — hearing what there is to hear, seeing what there is to see, feeling what there is to feel, and sensing what there is to sense, tasting what there is to taste, and smelling what there is to smell — all in service of bringing the presence of Spirit closer to the sitter for connection and validation.

When practised with reverence, humility, and devotion, this work carries a profound healing quality. It gives Spirit a voice and offers the sitter a sense of comfort, continuity, and solace — within a sacred and safely contained space created by the medium for this meeting to occur.

Tarot Cards

Tarot cards consist of 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana, representing archetypal life patterns, and 56 Minor Arcana, reflecting everyday human experiences.
Tarot is an archetypal and symbolic language that reflects the deeper movements of the psyche and soul. Each card serves as a mirror — illuminating the inner landscape of the sitter’s experience and offering insight into both conscious and unconscious dynamics.

A tarot reading does not predict fate; rather, it brings awareness to the patterns, energies, and themes currently at play. Through attunement to both the cards and the sitter’s energy field, the reader enters into a dialogue between intuition and symbol — revealing what is seeking expression, integration, or transformation in the present moment.

When approached with reverence, sensitivity, and psychological awareness, tarot becomes a profound tool for reflection and alignment. It supports the sitter in deepening their understanding of self, clarifying life direction, and reconnecting with the wisdom of the soul.

Psychometry

Psychometry is the intuitive art of reading the energetic imprint held within objects. Everything we touch, wear, or carry absorbs and retains traces of our energy — subtle resonances of thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Through attunement, the reader connects with this energetic imprint to perceive impressions, sensations, or images related to the object’s history or the person to whom it belongs. These impressions may offer insight into emotional patterns, relationships, or significant life experiences that remain energetically active.

Psychometry is often used in harmony with mediumship. At times, a sitter may bring a personal item belonging to a loved one who has passed, helping to strengthen the energetic link and deepen the communion between Spirit and the medium. The object serves as a conduit, carrying the subtle essence of the person and supporting clearer communication, validation, and presence during the sitting.

Scrying

Scrying is an ancient divinatory art — a practice of gazing into a reflective surface to access imagery, symbols, and impressions that arise from the unconscious and spiritual realms. It serves as a bridge between the seen and unseen, allowing intuitive messages to surface through vision, sensation, or knowing.

Ivana may use tools such as a black mirror, water bowl, or crystal ball to support this process. These reflective mediums act as portals through which subtle impressions and archetypal imagery can emerge. The images are not viewed as literal, but as symbolic language — communicating from the deeper layers of the psyche and the Spirit world.

Scrying requires stillness, openness, and attunement. As Ivana enters this meditative state, she allows the transcendental function to activate, where the boundary between the conscious and the spiritual becomes fluid. From this space, messages may unfold that bring clarity, insight, and illumination to the seeker’s journey.

Clairs

The “Clairs” are structural functions of the Soul or Psyche, acting as sensory organs that allow us to perceive realities beyond the physical world.

In psychic and mediumship work, the term “clairs” refers to the different intuitive senses that allow perception beyond the physical world. Each “clair” represents a specific way of receiving information:

Clairvoyance (“clear seeing”)
    • Receiving images, symbols, or visions in the mind’s eye.
    • Example: Seeing a spirit, a past event, or a symbolic image.
Clairaudience (“clear hearing”)
  • Hearing messages from spiritual sources or guides.
  • Example: Hearing words, phrases, or tones that convey guidance.
Clairsentience (“clear feeling”)
  • Sensing emotions, energies, or physical sensations from people, spirits, or places.
  • Example: Feeling someone’s sadness or the energy of a location.
Claircognizance (“clear knowing”)
  • Receiving intuitive knowledge without reasoning or prior information.
  • Example: Suddenly knowing the solution to a problem or understanding someone’s life path.
Clairalience (“clear smelling”)
  • Smelling scents with no physical source, often connected to spirits or memories.
  • Example: Smelling a rose when a loved one is present.
Clairmobilia / Clairtangency (“clear touch”)
  • Feeling objects, energies, or spirits through touch.
  • Example: Holding a person’s object and sensing their emotions or history (psychometry).

Each clair works individually or in combination, helping psychics, mediums, and intuitives connect with subtle energies.

Subjective and Objective Perceptions in a Reading

Perception within psychic and mediumship work can be experienced in different ways. The information that arises may be received internally through the intuitive senses, or externally through more tangible phenomena. Both forms are valid expressions of communication between the Soul, Spirit, and the medium’s perceptive field.

Subjective perception occurs when Ivana receives impressions internally — through inner sight, sound, feeling, or knowing. These may appear as subtle images, sensations, emotions, or symbolic impressions that carry meaning from the deeper layers of the psyche or from Spirit itself. In this process, Ivana’s intuitive and sensory faculties act as the bridge through which messages are translated.

Objective perception, on the other hand, is when information is experienced as though it exists externally — such as hearing a voice, seeing light or form, or sensing a presence within the physical space. These occurrences often happen when Spirit builds a stronger energetic bridge, making their presence more discernible in the room.

Both modes of perception hold unique value.
Subjective experiences often reveal symbolic, psychological, and energetic insight, while objective experiences may bring tangible confirmation and comfort of Spirit’s nearness.

Through attunement, discernment, and deep respect for the process, Ivana translates these impressions into words and meanings that best serve the client’s healing, clarity, and Soul evolution.

The Chakra System

The chakra system can be understood as a psychospiritual map of consciousness — a subtle anatomy that mirrors our physical, emotional, and spiritual functioning.

Each chakra represents a vortex of life force energy that governs specific psychological themes, instinctual drives, and soul lessons. Together, they form an integrated field through which we experience, express, and evolve our sense of self.

When energy flows harmoniously through these centres, we experience coherence — alignment between body, psyche, and spirit. When energy becomes blocked or overactive, we may experience imbalance, disconnection, or emotional and physical tension.

Awareness of the chakras invites a deeper capacity for self-regulation, insight, and healing — a bridge between the unconscious and the divine.

Root Chakra (Muladhara)

Theme: Safety, belonging, embodiment

Location: Base of the spine
Symbolism: Earth — the ground of being

The Root Chakra governs our sense of safety, survival, and right to exist. It holds our primal instincts, early attachments, and ancestral memory. When balanced, we feel grounded, stable, and connected to life; when depleted, we may feel anxious, unanchored, or disconnected from the body.

Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)

Theme: Emotion, creativity, relationship

Location: Lower abdomen, below the navel

Symbolism: Water — fluidity and feeling

The Sacral Chakra is the centre of our emotional and creative life. It relates to intimacy, sensuality, and the capacity to feel and flow with life’s movement. When in harmony, we experience pleasure, inspiration, and emotional depth; imbalance may manifest as numbness, guilt, or emotional volatility.

Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)

Theme: Will, self-expression, personal power

Location: Upper abdomen, just below the ribcage

Symbolism: Fire — transformation and action

This chakra is the seat of autonomy, confidence, and identity. It governs our ability to act, assert boundaries, and transform energy into form. Balanced, it brings strength, clarity, and healthy self-esteem; overactivation may show as control or anger, while underactivity may feel like powerlessness or fatigue.

Heart Chakra (Anahata)

Theme: Love, compassion, integration

Location: Centre of the chest

Symbolism: Air — breath, connection, balance

The Heart is the bridge between the lower (personal) and higher (transpersonal) chakras. It integrates love, empathy, and forgiveness, inviting harmony between self and other. When open, it allows giving and receiving love with ease; when wounded, we may guard or withdraw emotionally.

Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)

Theme: Expression, truth, resonance

Location: Throat and neck

Symbolism: Ether — vibration and sound

The Throat Chakra governs authentic expression — our ability to give voice to inner truth. It relates to communication, creativity, and integrity. When balanced, it carries clear resonance and courage to speak one’s truth; when blocked, it may show as silence, inhibition, or overcompensation through excessive talking.

Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)

Theme: Perception, intuition, insight

Location: Between the eyebrows

Symbolism: Light — inner vision and awareness

The Third Eye is the seat of intuitive wisdom, imagination, and higher perception. It governs our capacity to see beyond surface reality and to integrate insight into daily life. When balanced, it brings clarity, discernment, and visionary understanding; when clouded, it may lead to confusion or spiritual over-identification.

Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

Theme: Transcendence, unity, divine connection

Location: Crown of the head

Symbolism: Spirit — illumination and consciousness

The Crown Chakra opens us to universal awareness and spiritual communion. It represents the unfolding of consciousness and our connection to Source. When balanced, it brings serenity, trust, and an embodied sense of wholeness; imbalance can manifest as disconnection, cynicism, or spiritual bypassing.

Integration

The chakras are not separate entities but dynamic expressions of one living field. Healing involves not just opening or balancing them, but listening — attuning to the stories, memories, and emotions each holds.

Through awareness and embodied presence, energy begins to flow again, and the psyche reorganises itself toward greater coherence and vitality.
